Our History
Timeline Transportation was born out the necessity of a company that listened to its employees. In 2014, we opened our doors for business. We started with a small fleet of flatbeds doing several shipments a week with a handful of drivers. Our family owned company managed to develop relationships with customers and employees that far succeeded our expectations. As we contributed to our work, our business grew.
Today, we accommodate flatbed, dry van, refrigerated, expedite shipping. With hundreds of shipments weekly, we transport LTL and FLT. We come from the midwest, but we service all 48 states. We even venture into Canada.
Since then, we have shipped hundreds of tons of goods across the country safely. We are leading Chicagoland area experts on flatbed and expedite shipping. We fulfill our promise of listening to our employees by continuously offering growth opportunities.

We book freight ahead of time so you can have a piece of mind, but we also pick up loads last minute so you don’t have to worry.
We make constructing highways, roadways and buildings possible by delivering goods to sights across the country. We ship pieces of plastic and metal to warehouses that get assembled and become cars parts of larger projects or kids toys. We move components essential in the making of electronics, medicine and even ingredients that become part of the foods we love. We work with brands that you buy in your local stores. We hire people we love and we ship things that matter. We are a part of an industry that brings together businesses and people.
